Pandemic Influenza and Seasonal Influenza
Currently, there is NO pandemic flu in the U.S. However, if it occurred during the regular flu season, the pandemic flu and seasonal flu viruses could combine and form a potentially more serious flu virus. Therefore, it is important for people to get their annual flu shot to prevent this potential problem.
For information about pandemic influenza and avian influenza, please be sure to visit the County Pandemic and Bird Influenza website by clicking here. This site contains information and links to other County department pandemic and bird influenza websites.
