To prevent the
spread of vaccine-preventable diseases, the California Immunization
Law requires that children entering school or child care meet requirements
for immunization against these diseases:
- Polio
- Diphtheria
- Pertussis (whooping cough)
- Hib (child care only) Haemophilus Influenza
type b
- Tetanus (lockjaw)
- Measles
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B
