Throughout the year, the County of San Diego Immunization Branch offers FREE immunization trainings for schools and child care centers.

These trainings are geared toward teaching staff to read immunization records, then correctly transcribe the information onto a Blue Card. Principals, directors, registrars, nurses and health techs (anyone who is charged with reading IZ records, then creating Blue Cards) are encouraged to attend. Classes are 2 hours in length.
