SDIR User Manual & Demo

Advice that is always there when you need it!

SDIR wants all users to have the resources they need to use the registry application most efficiently and effectively. We’ve created an on-line user manual that will walk you through the application as often as you need a refresher! The best aspect is that can we keep these on-line training manuals more up-to-date than the “hard copy” you received at training.

Since there are three kinds of SDIR users, there are three different user manuals:

  1. The “Standard” user manual is for health care providers that administer vaccines and document immunization history. This version of the user manual is extensive and includes all aspects of the registry application.
  2. The “Read-Only” user manual is for users that do not administer immunizations. These users can read/view the immunization screen and print out Patient Immunization History, the California Immunization Record (yellow card) and the California School Immunization Record (blue card). This user manual is limited to those functions and features.
  3. The "Limited Clinical Provider" user manual is for users that enter records and/or give immunizations. Following state law, these users can not enter or view the patient/client's address, social security number or Medi-Cal identification number. They are able to view the Immunization screen, print out the Assessment Report, Patient Immunization History, the California Immunization Record (yellow card), and the California School Immunization Record (blue card). This user manual is limited to those functions and features.
